The organization is duly incorporated with the\nCorporate Affairs Commission in Nigeria since 2017.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are currently looking for a <strong>Finance Intern<\/strong> to support\nthe financial management of our organisation by administering accounting\noperations to meet internal and donor requirements. The ideal candidate should\nbe familiar with audits, invoices and budget preparations. He\/She must\ndemonstrate interest in managing accounting activities, including bank\nreconciliations, accounts payable and accounts receivable. Candidates should\nalso have excellent organisational skills and be able to handle time-sensitive\ntasks.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Job Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Plans, directs, and controls accounting and financial operations.<\/li><li>Prepares reports and documents covering accounting transactions for management review.\u00a0<\/li><li>Ensures that accurate records are kept by standard practices.\u00a0<\/li><li>Prepare balance sheets and process invoice<\/li><li>Update internal systems with financial data<\/li><li>Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports<\/li><li>Reconcile bank statements<\/li><li>Participate in financial audits<\/li><li>Track bank deposits and payments<\/li><li>Assist with budget preparation<\/li><li>Review and implement financial policies<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Job\nRequirements&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Must be resident in the Federal Capital Territory (Abuja)<\/li><li>Possess at least BSc degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics<\/li><li>Graduated within the last four years<\/li><li>Less than 35 years of age<\/li><li>Professional qualifications such as ICAN is considered a plus<\/li><li>NYSC members looking for placement are encouraged to apply.<\/li><li>Available to work part time or full time with immediate effect.<\/li><li>Interest in Peacebuilding is desirable.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Compensation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is typically an unpaid position.
